Bud Rank PTC President's Corner
Hello Bud Rank Family!
It is a new school year and a lot of exciting events and activities are planned for this year! I hope all of our parents and students are excited to be back to school. With that said, all of our teachers have new students and all of our students have new teachers. I would like to thank our great leader Principal Gettman and his administrative staff for getting our school opened for this school year and ready for our children. With Principal Gettman's leadership, hard work, commitment, and guidance we are considered one of the best elementary schools in CUSD! I want to thank all of our teachers for all of their hard work put into getting their classrooms ready over the Summer, especially by putting their new lesson plans together also. They spend a lot of their time over the Summer by planning and putting together ideas for their new school year syllabus well in advance of the first day of school. We are so grateful to have such a outstanding group of teachers who love their jobs and love taking care of our children daily. In addition teachers also have to plan for all of the other extra curricular activities that they will be providing all of our students also. Many of our teachers help coach, coordinate, and run a lot of our school events in ADDITION to their classroom schedules. A lot of us parents don't know this but let me tell you the little secret. This is why we are so lucky to have such an awesome staff that go above and beyond everyday for our children. They spend a lot of hours outside of the class to help teach, guide, and support our students each and everyday! Next time we see one of our teachers on campus, in the classroom, or at an event let's tell them "I appreciate you"!
Right now is an exciting time to sign up to be a member of our PTC. We have a lot of incentives for each of our membership tiers and most importantly by being a member, you can get a front row seat every month at our meetings and not only know what we are doing on our school campus, but you can also be a part of it. We need a lot of our parents to be involved and take an interest in your child's school and help make these fantastic years for them. We are also looking for parents who want to volunteer and be a part of all of our events for this school year! In addition our spirit wear shop is now open with lots of fantastic shirts and apparel so check it out soon and get your favorites before they sell out. We just had a fantastic ice cream social and a lot of families that showed up and helped us raise funds for our students! It was a great time, with great food, and great people. Soon we will have our annual Bud Rank Elementary carnival which promises to be a great event and a major fundraiser for our school. If you would like to make donations for our auction, help volunteer, or donate bake sale items that would be much appreciated. Lastly don't forget to be on the lookout for our restaurant day and night fundraisers. Our schedule for the rest of 2025 will be as follows:

3) Chipotle November 12,th
4) Marco's December 10,th.

How Can I Help?
As school budgets are requiring more and more cuts. It is our privilege to be able to provide the supplies, equipment, and activities that our school budgets can no longer cover. We are only able to do that through the generous support of our Bud Rank families.
Through the Parent Teacher Club, we all have an opportunity to make a difference in our children's experience at Bud Rank. We would like to thank you in advance for your support and participation.
