The end of 2023 has come and we begin a new year in 2024! Happy New Year to all of our Bud Rank administrative staff, teachers, parents and of course our students! We have had a lot of great news here in the second quarter of school. I would like to thank Mr. Gettman, the administrative staff, teachers, and parents for our continued success in making Bud Rank the best elementary school at CUSD! Thank you to all of our teachers for the parent teacher conferences. We appreciate your time, commitment, and work behind the scenes you did, to sit down with all of us parents and give updates on how our children are doing! Thank you to everyone for your support for our carnival. It was a great success and helped us raise over 20K to help provide, support, and help our students with all different types of supplies! A special thank you to Mr. Gettman, administrative staff, teachers, parents, and our grounds keepers for all the time, help, and support that they volunteered. Thank you to all of our sponsors, and thank you to our PTC board staff for putting everything together. A special thank you to Mrs. Gregerson for donating her time and efforts and being our carnival coordinator. In addition to being one of our teachers and helping with other activities at our school she found time to put everything together.
Congratulations to Mr. Moss for winning the prestigious award for the best CUSD plant manager. We thank Mr. Moss for his continuing effort and help, making our grounds at Bud Rank looking the best! Mr. Moss consistently helps make our grounds look beautiful and clean. In addition Mr. Moss always helps with all of our activities during and after school. Congratulations to our robotics and cheerleading teams making regionals! Both have added some history to our school and brought about some nice recognition. Thank you to teachers, coaches, parents and of course our students for making it happen. The Sonora trip was a great experience for all of our sixth grade students(Maybe not so much for our parents that missed their children). Our Winter programs were incredible this year! I was so emotionally excited as I am sure all of us parents were to watch our children perform. Thank you to our music and band teachers for all of your dedication, time, and perseverance to put the shows on for all of us to enjoy. A special thank you to Mrs. Dena Curtis for putting on our holiday shop this year! Mrs. Curtis volunteered her time and worked hard to be able to put on great Holiday store this year! Thank you to our PTC board members who volunteered their time in helping. I know in talking with many parents they were emotionally touched by the gifts their children gave them, and how these gifts were symbols for their love for Moms and Dads.
I would like to conclude by thanking our PTC board and parents for all of your support, donations, and help with making this last quarter so special. Thank you to all of our school administrative staff and teachers for your time and efforts. Remember everyone can join our PTC Board meetings via zoom/teams and provide feedback and ideas, and it is never too late to sign up for PTC!

As school budgets are requiring more and more cuts. It is our privilege to be able to provide the supplies, equipment, and activities that our school budgets can no longer cover. We are only able to do that through the generous support of our Bud Rank families.
Through the Parent Teacher Club, we all have an opportunity to make a difference in our children's experience at Bud Rank. We would like to thank you in advance for your support and participation.
